Serve Our City and World

Serve Our City
Redeemer partners with Hope for San Diego, a local nonprofit and mercy ministry committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus to our underserved neighbors. Throughout the year, there will be several chances to serve together as a community. But we also encourage you to learn more about ongoing volunteer opportunities by clicking the button below.
Comfort & Joy 2023
Please join our efforts to pour out God’s love toward marginalized families this Christmas through family sponsorship or volunteering!
Hope for San Diego partners with local, trusted affiliates and community partners who serve as lifelines to families living on the margins right here in our city. Each year their teams—who have built relationships with our under-served neighbors—select those who are in most acute need to receive family or survivor “sponsorships.”
Sign up to bless a family on the margins. Or, donate to help us provide a Christmas celebration for a family! You can also attend one of the many local service opportunities & events happening around the county.
“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
1 John 3:17-18

“Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
