There’s a place for you to serve at Redeemer, whether you’d like to volunteer with kids or students, help set-up, serve on the worship team, or welcome visitors.
Opportunities
Set Up & Clean Up
This team helps set up the children’s ministry rooms, the welcome table, the refreshment & communion tables, and more at Ellen Browning Scripps School. After service, this team also helps with clean up duties.
Welcome & Information Table
This team helps greet visitors, and assist with any questions that newcomers may have. After service, this team also assists with sign-ups, questions about community groups (CGs), or any other questions about upcoming events.
Kids & Students
An incredible way to help shepherd the next generation of God’s people who love and follow Jesus, there opportunities to serve as Sunday school teachers, teacher aids, or in the nursery.
Worship & Audio/Visual
Are you a talented musician or singer? Or are you more comfortable at a tech booth helping behind-the scenes? Our worship and audio/visual team are an essential part of Sunday service. After service, this team also helps clean up all A/V equipment.
Loving by Serving
Through the life of Jesus, God shows us over and over again that our life is meant to be given for the sake of others. In scripture, we are shown that God has uniquely equipped each member of the church body with spiritual gifts so that we will engage with one another in service (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
We believe that spiritual formation and discipleship is rooted in serving.
