Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child is under 6 months old?

If your child is under 6 months old, you are welcome to bring them with you into the main Worship Center. We also have a cry (and nursing) room available near the main Worship Center. In this room, you will still be able to hear and watch the music and sermon.

How do I check in my kids?

If you are new to Redeemer, you can head to the Kids’ check-in station and we’ll be sure to get you set up. You’ll be asked to enter your name and contact information into our secure system. From there, we’ll be able to print out a unique sticker for you and your child. If for any reason, your child should need you during the service, we will put the code printed on the sticker on the bottom of the screen in the main Worship Center. After the service, you will need to bring your sticker with you in order to pick up your child from their classroom.

Do all volunteers get background checks?

Yes. Every Redeemer staff member and every volunteer who serves in Kids or Student ministry must undergo a criminal background check, including a fingerprint scan, prior to serving at Redeemer.

My child has allergies. Do you serve snacks or have a snack policy?

We provide Gluten Free Cheerios as a snack in the Nursery, Waddler, and Toddler classes; and in Preschool, we provide Goldfish. If you would like to bring a snack from home, you may, but we ask that it be a nut-free snack and that it be eaten when we serve the other children snacks. We do not provide snacks to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. If your child wants a snack from the island at church, we ask that they finish it with you before entering the classroom.

Ready to Visit?

We’re excited to meet you and your children!

We encourage all new families to come 5-10 minutes early so that we can get your kids checked-in and settled before the worship service.
