21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
January 8 - 28
In Luke 18, we read that Jesus told his disciples a parable “to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” (Luke 18:1) From this passage and throughout Scripture we read how important prayer is, and how God acts on our behalf in response to prayer. You’re invited to join together with the Redeemer family as we begin our new year with an extended time of prayer and fasting.
Not only is there benefit to the ministry of Redeemer through prayer and fasting, but this will also benefit each of us personally as we humble ourselves, draw close to the Lord, and ask him to renew our joy and to direct us throughout next year. We’ve prayed for years for a spiritual awakening in San Diego, and if that’s going to happen, we’ve got to increase our engagement in spiritual battle through prayer and fasting!
How to Join
Step One: You choose the type of fasting; some examples include:
-Daniel fast (no meats, sweets, breads, alcohol)
-Vegetable Fast: 7 days of vegetables, 7 days of vegetable & fruit juices, 7 days of vegetables
-Media fast: no social media, movies, tv, etc.
-Fast 1 meal each day (e.g. no lunch) and use that time for prayer
-Fast 1 day each week
Step Two: Join us for daily prayer calls in order to gather together to worship God and prayer together.
-Morning Zoom Prayer times from 7:00-7:30am (Monday - Friday)

WORSHIP & PRAYER NIGHT
Join us for a night of prayer and worship on Sunday, January 8 at 6pm! We’ll be praying for Redeemer ministries & staff in 2023 to kick off the new year at the throne of God!
